When they start DanceBody, most of our clients never danced before. If that’s where you are, too, you’re in great company. DanceBody loves beginners!
Many of these self-proclaimed non-dancers—all of whom started with “two left feet”—now move like DanceBody instructors! But because we know the realities of intimidation, we are happy to ease you into our program. That’s why we offer several class levels.

DB MASHUP Perfect for DanceBody Newbies!
Make no mistake: in our Level I class, you will sweat. But you might sweat less intensely than in our Open Class (Level II). Through repetitive steps interspersed with sculpting, you get comfortable and stable on your new dancer’s legs—without the pressure of tricky choreography.You experience the rhythmic movement and gorgeous rewards—without interference from your judgmental mind.
DB OPEN Ideal for All Levels!
An intense dance cardio workout, this class mixes repeating choreography with a finale of mat sculpting. Whether you focus on steps or turn your brain off, you can anticipate the magic of muscle memory, in which your body is suddenly—impressively—dancing. Best of all, Open includes mashed up versions of our full-length dances from Full Out (Level III). For newbies, the Open class might be fun and challenging. For regulars, this is your chance to shine.


DB BREAKDOWN Dance Footwork for Everyone
Ok Type A killers and newbies, too: let’s lock down your dances! This is a great class to learn each step and refine your form. Breakdown preps you to get real results, and enter a Full Out Class (Level III) and rock it out.
DB SCULPT Isolate & Elongate (Works for All Levels)
Sculpt focuses on elongating—and strengthening—the muscles in your arms, legs, torso, while refining your hips, lifting your butt, and whittling your abs. We’ll perform isolated exercises using light weights and resistance bands. By activating your smaller, underused muscles (that dancers utilize effortlessly), we tighten your body to a fine instrument. There is no dance cardio involved in this class, but you will still see similar rhythms as you exercise to the beat of the music.

DB FULL OUT Our Advanced-Level Class
Building on Open, Full Out is just that—non stop choreography, capped off with mat sculpting. In Full Out, we dive into quick footwork, testing your concentration and your fitness. And if you don’t hit every move? You’ll be having too much fun to beat yourself up about it! Come try it—and emerge laughing, loving dance, and feeling toned and wonderful.

DB MASTER The Ultimate Shakedown
This is THE DanceBody class: our whip-fast, booty-shaking, hip-hopping, thigh-slimming, fat-torching class led by the queens of dance cardio! If you’re in here, it means you’ve attended several Breakdown, Open, and Full Out classes, and you’re at the highest, post-grad DanceBody level—one that will challenge your mind and change your body. Guaranteed.
